2025 Record Breaking Year at InTouch
2025 has been touted as a quiet year on the production scene in Aotearoa but I have to say that InTouch Talent has gone from strength to strength this year with a remarkable grand total of 19 different productions we have worked on to keep our talent busy. Many small budget local productions which we have been proud to support and a couple of large international productions. As well as those listed below, we also worked on KAEDE (small Japanese production in Tekapo), Baddies (NZ Production in Auckland), and The Dogs Show (NZ Production in Wellington)!
Next year we are excited about what's in store and look forward to getting more of Team InTouch on set!
EAST OF EDEN
Filming continued after the New Year Break to finish off the 6 month production in March with 71 of our people on set!
We may have upset a few Americans by stealing one of their classics!! oops 
MY LIFE IS MURDER
returned for yet another season with Lucy Lawless and we were fortunate to build amazing connections to get over 40 people on set ranging from Extras to Featured Extras to Stand Ins and even a Body Double kidnapping scene.
M3GAN 2.0
Another incredible film with only limited extra roles this time, but running for your life in the middle of the night while being filmed certainly hit the spot for many of our 24 people on set. Abril had the best time being the Featured DJ!!
EVIL DEAD BURN
Horror is not our jam but if it's yours then ooh yes, the saga continues.
Our small team of 12 extras made an impact in this sequel and you'll be able to watch them yourselves with the release due early 2026
MS X
Melissa George is Ms X in a crime dramedy where a mum's plan to catch her cheating husband goes wrong, leading to murder and a criminal underworld. We had over 60 extras booked on this production, some for several days.
BLUE MURDER MOTEL
So many positive reports back from our 113 extras on this one. I personally can't wait to see it on air! This eight-part Kiwi crime drama stars Michala Banas and Brett Tucker as retired Aussie detectives running a NZ motel. But only 1 week into their adventure...
UMAMI
The talk in Team InTouch has been all UMAMI - the working title of our current US Production. Our 70+ extras are very excited to be part of this fantasy drama based around a 1980s game. The world awaits its release as our Umami worlds are created in Auckland.
A REMARKABLE PLACE TO DIE
Season 2 has just kicked off in Queenstown after the success of Season 1. Check it out on TVNZ now. Our extra team are building their profiles for consideration in the new year and we'll be reaching out for more people in January 2026.
K*I*W*I* (working title)
WWII DocoDrama was another amazing NZ production, this time presenting the cultural heritage of our Maori Battalion with 18 of our finest young Maori 'soldiers' out in the Extra Trenches.
CRACKHEAD
What an epic story about friends dealing with meth addiction. Casting began with 3 agencies and then only Team InTouch working with casting.
Most roles were repetitive giving our 54 extras a total of 132 shoot days!
DREAMSHIP
A German Reality Show came to town looking for people to particiapte in a "love boat' story. Our 21 people filled many roles and helped to keep this German Trademark going as the ship cruised the Pacific waters.
THE RIDGE
Another thriller, this time the Scots and Kiwi's teaming up for an epic producition across both countries. Our small team of 9 carefully selected talent were able to embrace their skills and talents for work on this production.
KLARA AND THE SUN (pickups)
The production team were back for the final edits and additional scenes required to complete this production which filmed in 2024. Many of our extras were called back on set with 9 making selections
SHORTLAND STREET
Requiring no intro this NZ Film Industry institution still remains a fav for many of our people. Funding extension means this production will continue on our screens in 2026. We've had over 30 people on Shorty this year.
BROKENWOOD MYSTERIES
Yet another Kiwi production to gather 'classic' status with Season 12 completing their filming this year. We had quite a diverse group of 38 people booked on this production having loads of fun!

WOW - what an incredible year it has been. We've had so much growth in the agency.
I've had to deal with some health challenges this year too which threw me unexpectedly into a new way of living, enabled me to embrace change as a great opportunity rather than a negative challenge and in the process I've learnt so much about myself !
2025 was the year of Transformation for me and our agency. We still have a long list of things to achieve and I can't wait to get started in 2026! But for now... I am ready for a sit down, a sleep in and some amazing sunrises. Happy 2026 Everyone xx

MEASUREMENTS ARE VITAL: Many of the roles we wanted to submit Team InTouch for this year required certain sizes.
EOE had costumes imported and only narrow waistlines were able to fit the corseted clothes.
Body Double and Stand In Roles were advertised early for every production but many of Team InTouch fell off our filters when sizes weren't listed on profiles. these are key roles that will see you booked for the entire production if you fit the brief with looks and sizes. If being on a production as an actor or simply being in the industry is your vibe, you have to check and update your measurements!
PROFESSIONS & SKILLS help book roles!
When we know what skills you have or what professions you have experience or training in, we can use that information to submit you early. Our Filters on HeyCast are incredibly flexible and key to getting the right people in front of casting fast.
Are your new skills and old professions listed on HeyCast? Can we see that you know how to ride a bike, a camel or a kite surf? Have you told us you can dance the flamingo, hoola hoop and do back flips?
SPEED GETS BOOKINGS Our response time to casting for Extra Roles became the difference between bookings and missing out. When our people responded quickly to calls for availability, and we passed available talent to casting, they then started to look to us first to fill new roles.
CURRENT INFORMATION supported Faster Response Times. We know your photos, we recognise when photos are new and reflect exactly what casting are looking for. We submit immediately.
We search all our profiles for the look casting have described - photos which aren't current are slowing us down so we skip them.
Team InTouch Resource Library
Our new Resource Library went live back in October and was not without some challenges. But we've been working with our Tech Team to refine how things look & work in there and hope you'll jump in to check out whats available during your holidays: a great time to review some videos and posted info in preparation for the new year.
Access is with your email address used with HeyCast - please request a new password if you haven't logged in and one will be emailed to you to get started.
Our agency is free to join and we have no annual fee which is why we ask for your support if you like the resource library.
It is our goal to provide full resources to everyone, however some resources incur a small fee or you can purchase a membership for complete access.
