It’s vital you read this and action the instructions in there. We have provided links below to help you check you’re following guidelines. And there are loads more documents in our Resource Library for you to access too. Failure to complete all these sections will affect your selection for roles. Your HeyCast profile is your new Film Industry Bible – update it regularly, stay connected and be responsive to maximise your opportunities with us.
HeyCast Basics
- Have you Signed your Agency Agreement? Check the Alert Panel when you log in to your profile. The signed agreement is saved to your Documents in HeyCast. We will submit you for all and any casting opportunities that come to us as soon as you have signed our Agency Agreement.
- Photos are vital to getting booked. Please review this link to make sure your photos meet our guidelines.
- Measurements are important for selection if costumes or Body Double/Stand In roles are involved. Please review this link to check your measurements are current and accurate.
- Location must be selected from the Dropdown list in HeyCast and the nearest main centre to you or your profile will fall off our filter. There is more information in our Resource Library.
- Ethnicity is required for consideration in roles which depict a specific ethnicity. Your profile will fall off our HeyCast filter if ethnicity is not noted. We review our process and reasons in our Induction Webinar.
- Skills help us and the casting team to know which roles you are best suited to. Please only include skills you’re comfortable demonstrating on camera. View here for more info and check out our Resource Library for videos explaining more.
- Credits are essential if you want us to submit you as an Actor or Action Extra. This information shows casting directors your acting is current and what type of actor you are. Credits are also helpful if you are at the top of your game in any skill, or national competitor or International Athlete. Add your credits to show us what you’ve done.
What Else We Need
Government Issued ID: Please upload an NZ or foreign passport or NZ driver’s licence (back and front) to the Documents section of your HeyCast. All commercial work requires a form of ID on file to complete background checks. Some film productions will ask for ID to verify work eligibility.
Work Visa (if applicable): If you are on any type of visa please upload this also, as we may need to provide proof of work eligibility to production for payment. Those on Student Visas can only be engaged for one 10hr day per week. Those on Sponsorship Visas do need to check with current employer before taking any work with InTouch Talent.
